The Director General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Board (TRB) hereby informs the public that, in the framework of its regulatory duties in the telecommunications sector and in view of the persistent deterioration in the quality of electronic communication services in Cameroon, network performance checks were carried out with the four (4) concession holding operators (MTN Cameroon, ORANGE Cameroon, VIETTEL and CAMTEL), in the second half of 2022.
As a result, thirteen (13) formal notices were issued to the said operators, with a deadline to undertake remedial action.
