On the occasion of the 54th National Unity Day, held under the theme “National unity, a pillar of our defense and the foundation of Cameroon’s development”, the Telecommunications Regulatory Board (TRB) reaffirmed its commitment to republican values through a ceremonial flag-raising, organized on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the Platinum Building esplanade.

At 7:15 a.m., the entire staff gathered for this moment of national communion, under the watchful presence of defense forces ensuring the security of the Agency’s headquarters. The arrival of Director General, Professor Philémon Zoo Zame, marked a highlight of the event, immediately followed by the solemn rendition of the national anthem — a symbol of discipline and shared patriotism.

Deputy Director General Zourmba Aboubakar stood alongside the Director General during the ceremony, which concluded with an address by Human Resources Director, Mveng Ekodo Alain Parfait. In his remarks, he underscored the importance of punctuality and respect for national emblems, values deemed essential to strengthening cohesion and efficiency within the institution.

This ceremony, recommended by the Government and conducted simultaneously across the national territory, stands as a resounding symbol of civic duty, discipline, and devotion to the homeland.
